KATE MIDDLETON IS OFFICIALLY THE QUEEN OF THE COATDRESS
Marrying into the royal family has its perks in the fashion department (bespoke tailoring, for one), but when it comes down to it, style cannot be bought. It's inherent. Case in point: Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who looks just as effortless in a made-to-fit coatdress as she does in breton stripes and denim. As an ode to her royally chic taste, we're looking back on her most stylish moments thus far.
Joining Britain's Air Cadets to help them celebrate their 75th anniversary, Middleton stepped out in her tried and true style staple: a well-tailored coatdress. This time, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a pale blue Alexander McQueen version of the trend. Consider us royally obsessed.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War Gallipoli campaign with Prince William by her side, Middleton manages to make a turtleneck look fashionable by letting it peek through a Michael Kors Collection slate and claret guncheck wool jacket and skirt.
For a solo outing at the 2015 Fostering Excellence Awards, Middleton opted for a royal blue, crinkle-textured A-line dress by Indian designer Saloni. To show off her trim waist, she topped things off with a leather belt boasting elegant gold detail. It might be early, but Middleton's classic look has us considering going monochrome in favor of glitz this holiday season.
