Vans Celebrates All Things USA With Brand New Limited Editions

Depending on who you talk to, American patriotism is in short supply. But that didn’t stop Vans going all star-spangled with its latest USA-made release – and just in time for the 4th of July, too (the equivalent of Bonfire Night for you Brits. Kind of).

Following on from the label’s launch of the ArcAd franchise, an innovate series of performance skate models, the new Style 113 Pro USA ArcAd is available in two colourways: white leather with black outsoles, and a model in reverse. Which may not sound very Land Of The Free. Though factor in American flag branding to the tongue, and you’ve got a trainer that’s two-parts Tony Hawks, four-parts Bruce Springsteen.

Incorporating all the usual Vans trademarks – including the UltraCush HD sockliners for ultimate comfort when skating (or commuting) – they’re limited to just 700 hand-numbered pairs. At least something’s making America great again.
