Melania Trump Goes Patriotic in Esteban Cortázar for Fourth of July at the White House

After taking to twitter earlier today to wish her followers a Happy Independence Day, Melania Trump greeted military families on the lawn of the White House for a celebratory picnic. To mark the occasion, the First Lady wore a fit-and-flare dressfrom Colombian-born, Miami-raised designer Esteban Cortázar. The electric blue look was Trump’s second sartorial nod to all-American style: the first came on Friday evening, when she wore a white button-down and gingham pencil skirt by Altuzarra.

The scoop-neck jersey dress had a decidedly more fashion-forward silhouette, however, with an asymmetric hemline that was accented with a thick white border. Trump kept accessories to a minimum, with little more than her diamond ring to finish the ensemble.

Designer Esteban Cortázar was born in Colombia, but raised in Miami, and Joseph Altuzarra is also an American designer. But Melania did not just keep these details in mind; she also showed off her eye for style as the Esteban Cortázar dress was finished with a wide white stripe highlighting the asymmetrical hem. Read on to see how Melania accessorized her festive outfit with her engagement ring, then find where you can pick up the exact colorblock midi for yourself.
