Check out Zayn Malik's collection for Giuseppe Zanotti
2016 turned out pretty rosy for Zayn Malik - he had a hit album and got serious with supermodel girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. And he's kicked off 2017 on a high note by unveiling his first fashion collaboration.
After meeting footwear favourite Giuseppe Zanotti at Paris Fashion Week in 2015, the pair agreed to collaborate - well, why not? Now we have our first peek at the shoe collection.
The hi-tops and suede ankle boots have Zayn written all over them, not least because one of them is called 'Zigi.'Designed with statement zips and in neutral earthy colours they're all emblazoned with a 'Giuseppe for Zayn' logo plate.

Despite the fact that the pair work in different fields - music and fashion - Zanotti says it was easy to find a shared concept for the designs.
“I like to work with musicians because we share a very similar vision,” the designer told Vogue.

“[Zayn and I] have always had an appreciation for one another, but it was during our first encounter in Paris that we realiSed we had a similar attitude and approach: iconic, edgy, and expressive. Zayn’s bold and individualistic vision, easy coolness, and love for fashion mean a lot to me.”
Meanwhile Zayn says they bonded over a shared love of things that are a "bit dark and weird."
He adds in a statement: "I really believe style comes from taking chances, being bold and not being afraid to express yourself."
Zayn's fashion star continues to rise this year as he will unveil his Versus X Zayn collection in May, which he's created as part of his role as Donatella Versace's "rock star" designer.
The Giuseppe for Zayn collection is limited editon and will be stocked online and in stores globally.
