HOW TO EXERCISE IN THE POOL
Exercising is the most important thing for every body's health and there are different method of exercise for the body.Today we bring to you the exercise in the pool,try it.
- Benefits: Less strain is inflicted on your body.The water creates resistance for you to work against and it can be both relaxing and stimulating
- Before you jump in: Your shoulders and arms should be loose and flexible.Rotate your shoulders forwards and back.Let your arms hang heavily by your sides and give them a good shake.
- Warm up:Do jumping jacks.that is jumping up and down and opening and closing your legs and arms at the same time.to warm up
- Swings:Hold on to the side of the pool,swing your leg forwardas far as you can and then backwards.Repeat on the other side.
- Rotations: Feet and ankles need to be strong for swimming.Stand sideways on to the edge of the pool;lift your right leg off the bottom of the pool and circle your ankle out and in.Repeat with your left leg,
- Tone: Pool exercising is especially good for you bustline working the pectoral muscles of the chest.
- Squeeze:Face the edge of the pool and hold on at arm's length.Lift your body so that you are floating on your front.Squeeze your legs into chest while trying to keep yourself up in the water.
- Stretch:Face the edge of the pool.Hold on at arm's length and lift your feet on to the wall as you try to straighten you legs.
- Strain: If you have any neck tension,swim sidestroke or breaststroke with your head turned to one side for air.Lifting your head out of the water on a tight neck can add more tension.
- Stretch and relax: Swimming is about stretching the body through the water which brings with it relaxation.Think of your strokes being long and make your breathing deep and rhythmic to benefits from this type of exercise.
